Today’s flip on Maxwell is bad. Almost as bad as my week has been. Going through the after photos of Maxwell was like watching a sad movie when you’re already feeling sad: weirdly comforting knowing that the ugliness you’re feeling inside is mirrored in the world. From time to time I’ve BUI’d (blogged under the influence) (like here and here) but today I’m blogging while despondent (BWD). If you’ve been following my recent posts you may think it has to do with the potential flip that got away, but alas, it doesn’t. This week I have the mom-blues.
Guys, after flying high for the last couple of weeks, I got some news today that’s given me the blues. On this past Tuesday’s Tear Down post, I showed you the condo I’d hoped to flip. Well…it’s probably not going to happen for me because someone beat me to it and put an offer on it. I’m so sad. I’m pretty sure I helped sell it because I went to the Redfin posting about 20 times a day, which made it probably seem like a “hot” property. Ugh.
Guys, I’m really excited to be sharing today’s Tear Down for a couple of reasons. First, the name of this street is ripe with double entrende, and second (and equally as exciting to me) I’m hoping to make this condo my “first” flip. #highpitchsqueal
Guys, this has been such a great week. I’m making some moves that are getting me closer to being able to remodel my house and maybe, just maybe do a flip!!! But before I get into that, let’s do a FFF, shall we?
Folks, today’s TTD has a ton of potential but the location is pretty bad. Thankfully in the fantasy world of TTD, we don’t have to worry about the bad location too much. We simply need to reimagine this house with all of the gorgeous original detail. The real question is whether this house should go traditional or with a more trendy style (like California Boho Chic or modern farmhouse). I’ll show you inspiration photos for both styles. Then you’ll have to tell me which way you’d go. I’m really torn and still don’t know.
Today we’re going to take another little trip down memory lane and see what some of our previous FFF’s have sold for. You are going to be shocked at the house that made the biggest profit and it’s also the house where I’d predicted a sales price…to say I was way off would be an understatement.
