I just got back from a work event and had a few too many glasses of wine. On average, I drink zero glasses of wine per week. Tonight, I had 4…Despite my compromised state, I am 1000% committed to bringing you another FFF even if I am going to be B.U.I (Blogging Under the Influence…duh!). Today’s flip, 58th St., was transformed for sure but I’m not sure I love it. Dying to hear your thoughts!
So because I’m trying to BUI I really struggled to match the before and afters for a lot of the rooms. The fact that this house is colossal made it much more difficult. In many parts of the country, a 3900 sq. ft. may be average but around here, it’s practically a mansion.
I’m barely keeping it together so let’s move on to what you all came for…pictures and my witty comments.
This house is in an amazing, well established and highly desirable neighborhood. You can walk to a lot — maybe even everything you’ll ever need — but I think $1.7 m is an insane price even for this neighborhood and a house this big.
With a house this big, I can’t even imagine who the buyers are going to be. The Vonn Trap family?

I’m at a loss to explain why these flippers ripped out the paneling and so many architectural details. Because they left the hutch and pocket doors, I have to think they had no choice. If they did have a choice, then I hate these flippers. I get that not everyone loves wood paneling but I think painting paneling is far better than ripping it out.
A lot of money went into these bathrooms but I really don’t like any of them. They’re all so dark and feel so sterile.
Phew! I made it through this FFF despite my…um…er…condition…
